HOW TO ENTER THE RAFFLE

Please locate the Raffle Table at the Tet Festival. (festival map will be released Jan 2024) A VAC volunteer will provide your tickets and you may also purchase additional tickets there. The Miss Vietnam & Mister Vietnam Royal Courts will be walking around during the festival to sell raffle tickets.

Your ticket will be ready and reserved under the name you purchased. You can have 1 alternative person pick up your ticket. To pick up the ticket, we do require 1 form of ID (driver’s license, student ID, debit/credit card, etc.)

That’s okay! When you pick up your tickets, you will get to choose where to place each ticket (gold, silver, bronze) in it’s respective bucket.

The MCs of the Tet Festival will be announce each winner during the raffle portion throughout the festival. You will have 2 minutes to claim your prize if your raffle is drawn. A program schedule will be listed on the website and around the festival so you know where and when to listen for raffle winners!

Unfortunately, your tickets will be voided. All tickets purchased online will be nonrefundable.
Terms & Conditions
Organizers
The raffle is organized by the Vietnamese Association of Charlotte, with its registered office at 7035 Barnstone Ct, Denver, NC 28037, hereafter referred to as "the Organizer."
Eligibility
The raffle is open to individuals aged 18 years and older. The Organizer will assume any individual under 18 has obtained parent/guardian consent for purchasing tickets online or in-person.
Entry Period
The raffle entry period begins on December 1st, 2023 12:00AM. We will accept raffle tickets for each tier until the time it is presented for picking during the 2024 Tết Program.
Online ticket purchasing will be closed February 3rd, 2024 11:59PM.
How to Enter
To participate, individuals must purchase raffle ticket via online at vietcharlotte.org/tet or in-person during the Tết Festival. Each raffle entry requires compliance with the $5 ticket fee to the festival.
Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets will be sold at $5 per ticket. Payment must be made via online (until February 3rd) or in-person.
No limit on the number of tickets an individual can purchase.
We accept PayPal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash, or Credit.
Prize
The prize for the raffle is listed above in Raffle Details. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.

Winner Selection
The winner will be chosen at random by selecting one random ticket from the raffle box. The draw will take place on Saturday, February 10th and the winner will be announced during the Tet Festival.
The ticket holder or alternative ticket holder must be present during the raffle announcement to claim the prize.
Notification of Winners
The winner will be notified during the Tet Festival. If the winner does not respond during the announcement of their raffle number within 2 minutes, a new winner will be selected.
Publicity
By participating in the raffle, the winner agrees to the use of their name and image for promotional purposes related to the raffle, without any additional compensation.
Taxes and Fees
The winner is responsible for any taxes or fees associated with the prize. The Organizer will not be held responsible for any tax implications arising from the receipt of the prize.
Limitation of Liability
The Organizer shall not be held responsible for any lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries or for any technical malfunctions that may affect the raffle.
Compliance with Laws
The raffle is subject to all applicable laws and regulations. The Organizer reserves the right to amend or cancel the raffle if required by law or for any valid reason.
Agreement to Terms
By entering the raffle, participants agree to these terms and conditions.
